2020 MLB.TV Offer FAQs

What are you offering?

A free full 2020 MLB Regular Season subscription to MLB.TV (full price of $59.99)!

What is MLB.TV? What do I get with a MLB.TV subscription?

· Watch EVERY 2020 out-of-market regular season game LIVE or on demand and EVERY in-market regular season game on demand. Click here for more info

· Watch on your favorite supported devices (includes access to premium features of the MLB app)

· Choose home or away feeds in HD

· For 2020, MLB.TV has added a library of premium content for subscribers including baseball documentaries, classic programming, and World Series films, in addition to news, highlights, and access to archived games.

· Note: this product will not allow you to view live games of any in-market team.

Is the offer window the same as last year?

This year, we’re giving you even more time to redeem! You have 14 days to redeem the offer (July 21 at 5:00am ET – August 4 at 4:59am ET).

How / When do I redeem?

In order to claim the offer, T-Mobile and Sprint customers must:

Android Customers

  1. Install (if not already) and open the T-Mobile Tuesdays app

a. After an install, user will need to sign in to the app using their T-Mobile phone number.

  1. Starting Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 5:00 AM ET through Monday, August 4, 2020, at 4:59 AM ET:

a. Click on the MLB.TV offer tile featured on the T-Mobile Tuesdays home screen, which will take you to the offer detail page

b. Click “SAVE”, which will take you to the redemption page

c. Click “REDEEM”, which will take you to MLB.com’s MLB.TV registration page, specifically for this T-Mobile offer (you will not be asked to pay)

d. If you already have a MLB.com account, you will be directed to the “Returning Customers” page. Enter your username and password and click “Login”

e. If you do not have a MLB.com account, you will be directed to the “Register” page. Enter the required fields and click “Register”

f. You will then be routed to the confirmation page

g. Click “WATCH NOW” to enjoy your free MLB.TV subscription!

iOS Customers

0.1 You must have the 13.5.0 version of the MLB app installed first on your device to access the redemption link. If you do not have the MLB App, please visit the App Store to download the MLB app. After you have downloaded the app, return to the T-Mobile Tuesday app to redeem your free subscription.

0.2 Install (if not already) and open the T-Mobile Tuesdays app

a. After an install, user will need to sign in to the app using their T-Mobile phone number.

  1. Starting Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 5:00 AM ET through Monday, August 4, 2020, at 4:59 AM ET:

a. Click on the MLB.TV offer tile featured on the T-Mobile Tuesdays home screen, which will take you to the offer detail page

i. Click “SAVE”, which will take you to the MLB.TV redemption page

ii. Click “REDEEM”, which will take you to Apple Pay MLB.TV app registration page, specifically for this T-Mobile offer (the app download will be free)

  1. If user does not have a CC in their iTunes account, they will be required to add one, but the CC will not be charged

b. Confirm purchase of MLB.TV For T-Mobile App

i. Once downloaded, open MLB.TV For T-Mobile App

c. Click “REDEEM NOW” to redeem the free MLB.TV subscription

i. You will get a “SUCCESS” message letting you know your free 2020 MLB.TV Subscription is now active

d. After completing the activation, an account link screen will overlay on top of the success screen

e. Select CONNECT to link to a free MLB.com account to access MLB.TV on every supported device

i. If you select SKIP and do not link to an MLB.com account, you may continue to access MLB.TV only on the iOS device used for activation

ii. If you already have a MLB.TV account, you will be directed to the “Returning Customers” page. Enter your user name and password and click “Login”

iii. If you do not have a MLB.TV account, you will be directed to the “Register” page. Enter the required fields and click “Register”

f. You will then be routed back to the SUCCESS page

g. Click “WATCH NOW” to enjoy your free MLB.TV subscription!

When I try to redeem the offer on my iOS device, the “Redeem” link on the offer page doesn’t work, what am I doing wrong?

In order to redeem the MLB.TV offer on your iOS device, you must have the 13.5.0 version of the MLB app installed on your device. If you do not have the MLB app installed, please visit the App Store to download the MLB app. After you have downloaded the app, return to the T-Mobile Tuesday app to redeem your free subscription.

When I try to redeem the offer on my iOS device, the “Redeem” link on the offer page takes me into the MLB.TV app, but I don’t see the offer?

You may have an older version of the MLB app. In order to redeem the MLB.TV offer on your iOS device, you must have the 13.5.0 version of the MLB app installed on your device. If you have an older version of the MLB app installed, please visit the App Store to update the MLB app to 13.5.0. After you have updated the app, return to the T-Mobile Tuesday app to redeem your free subscription.

Why can’t I redeem through T-MobileTuesdays.com?

Our redemption mobile website has been retired. Not to worry! You can access the T-Mobile Tuesdays promotions and offers by downloading the app from the Google Play or the App Store. The T-Mobile Tuesdays app provides a better experience, you can opt in for notifications on the latest offers and it’s the quickest way to redeem.

Why do I have to go through T-Mobile Tuesdays to get MLB.TV?

T-Mobile Tuesdays is the ONLY way to redeem a free subscription to MLB.TV. T-Mobile Tuesdays is our customer appreciation program where we thank customers with freebies and deals EVERY Tuesday. And what better way to thank our customers than with a free subscription to MLB.TV for the entire 2020 MLB Regular Season?

Who is eligible?

Any T-Mobile or Sprint customer on a qualifying T-Mobile branded monthly rate plan within the United States, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands can participate. Qualifying rate plans include most consumer and business monthly plans that include voice and data. Every qualifying line can participate if considered to be in "active status." To be eligible, customers must be at least 18 years old, minors need to be at least 13 years of age with parental consent, and customers in Puerto Rico must be at least 21 years old. Simply download the T-Mobile Tuesdays app, log in, and start getting thanked each week. Government accounts, payday/paygo plans, data only plans, plans without data, and Connect talk & text plans are not eligible.

Are Sprint customers eligible?

Yes, Sprint customers are now part of the T-Mobile Family! Sprint customers on qualifying plans are eligible for the free MLB.TV offer through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app.

Is there an age restriction to sign up?

Customers must be at least thirteen (13) years of age to create a MLB.com account

Can every line on my account get this free for their device?

Absolutely! Each phone on a qualifying line on your account can take advantage of this offer through T-Mobile Tuesdays. Government accounts, payday/paygo plans, data only plans, plans without data, and Connect talk & text plans are not eligible.

Do I need to provide a credit card number?

If completing offer on an iOS device, you must have a credit card associated with your iTunes account, however, your card will not be charged for this offer. If completing the offer on an Android device, a credit card is not required to redeem.

Can I use MLB.TV on multiple devices?

You sure can! Once you've registered, you can access MLB.TV on up to ten (10) devices using your MLB.com account (which can be created when you redeem the offer, if you do not already have an MLB.com account).

Supported connected devices include: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Roku, Apple TV 4, Chromecast, Samsung, Amazon FireTV, Android TV. You can find a list and FAQs for each connected device here: https://www.mlb.com/live-stream-games/help-center/connected-devices

Are there any limitations / usage restrictions for this promotional subscription?

Yes. See below limitations:

· A subscription cannot be shared or accessed from more than ten (10) devices

· A subscription cannot be accessed exclusively from a non-T-Mobile or Sprint phone.

· Excessive playlist requests in a 24-hour period.

· Multiple distinct streaming locations in a week.

· Concurrency violations (4+) in a week.

What happened to my At Bat app?

MLB is proud to announce At Bat is now MLB, your #1 app for live baseball. Major League Baseball is always live with the MLB app. With the same great features, continue following your favorite team’s action with game tracking and video highlights, along with up-to-the-moment stats, standings, news, and more. Your access hasn’t changed, it’s just under a different name!

Where can I find a list of connected devices compatible with MLB.TV?

What is MLB.TV’s desktop compatibility?

MLB.TV Compatibility for Windows Operating Systems

· MLB.TV runs in most current Internet browsers and operating systems.

· Supported Windows Browsers: Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome (We recommend the most current versions).

· Supported Windows Operating Systems: Windows 10, Windows 8.1, (Windows 7 is available using Chrome and Firefox browsers only).

· Note: If your computer is more than approximately three (3) years old, then you may experience technical difficulties when attempting to use MLB.tv.

MLB.TV Compatibility for Mac OSX

· MLB.TV runs in most current Internet browsers and operating systems.

· Supported Mac Browsers: Safari, Firefox, Chrome (We recommend the most current versions.)

· Supported Mac Operating Systems: OSX 10.14 OSX 10.13 OSX 10.12, OSX 10.11, OSX 10.15

· Note: If your computer is more than approximately three (3) years old, then you may experience technical difficulties when attempting to use MLB.TV.

Is the MLB® App’s premium features included in my MLB.TV subscription?

Yes! Your MLB.TV subscription can be accessed on any supported mobile or connected device. Stream on the go on supported iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android and Kindle fire mobile devices, as well as on your Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Xbox One, PS4, Samsung or cast with Chromecast. Does my free subscription to MLB.TV expire?

Yes. Your free subscription to MLB.TV expires on February 28, 2021.

Will I be charged for the automatic MLB.TV renewal next year?

No. MLB will not automatically renew your subscription because you took part in this offer as a T-Mobile customer.

Can I use one email address for multiple MLB.TV subscriptions?

No. You must use a new email address for each MLB.tv subscription.

Why am I getting a blackout message?

MLB.TV only covers live out of market games, but you can watch all games on demand! For a complete list of blackout restrictions, check out: http://tinyurl.com/zpc8rap.

Game XYZ is incorrectly blacked out! What should I do?

It’s crazy that I can’t access my own local games live with this service. What gives?

Reimbursement FAQs

What qualifies for reimbursement?

  1. If a customer purchased MLB.TV before the offer window (February 4, 2020 – July 20, 2020)

  2. If a customer tried to redeem the offer (between Tuesday, July 21st and Tuesday, August 4th ), but fell out of the redemption path by clicking on something and arrived at a MLB.tv website asking for payment (and the customer paid using their credit card information)

I already purchased MLB.TV before the offer window. Can I get my money back?

Yes! If you are a verified customer and…

· Request a reimbursement through a T-Mobile Care rep, you will be issued a reimbursement and will have to redeem your free subscription through the offer redemption process on July 21 – Aug 4.

If I buy MLB.TV now and don’t want to wait until July 21**st**, can I still get reimbursed?

Same response as above.

When will my current MLB.TV subscription be cancelled if I decide to move forward with reimbursement?

You may continue to stream from your current subscription until Monday, July 20th at 11:59 PM ET. You will then be eligible to sign up for the T-Mobile Tuesdays free MLB.TV offer between Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 5:00 AM ET through Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 4:59 AM ET.

When will I receive my reimbursement?

Reimbursements will be processed within 72 business hours after the date of inquiry. Once processed, the money will either be returned via your original payment method within 5-7 business days or be returned to you via check in the mail within 10 business days. If you paid for MLB.TV using Carrier Billing, please allow additional time for your reimbursement inquiry to be processed.

How will I receive my reimbursement?

You will be issued a full reimbursement on either the credit card in which they used to purchase MLB.TV or by check in the mail.

How will I know if my account has been verified to receive a reimbursement?

Within 72 business hours, the T-Mobile Customer Care rep will confirm if your MLB.TV subscription is verified / not verified. Once verified, you will receive an email from MLB confirming reimbursement once processed. If you paid for MLB.TV using Carrier Billing, please allow additional time for confirmation if your MLB.TV subscription is verified / not verified.

How will I know if I’ve been reimbursed?

A T-Mobile Customer Care rep will follow-up with the you within 72 business hours to confirm if you were verified / not verified. You will also receive an email from MLB confirming reimbursement once processed. If you paid for MLB.TV using Carrier Billing, please allow additional time for confirmation if your MLB.TV subscription is verified / not verified.

It’s been more than 5-7 business days. where is my refund?

If you paid for MLB.TV using Carrier Billing, your refund could be delayed. You will be notified within 5-7 business days if your MLB.TV subscription is verified / not verified. Once verified you will receive an email from MLB confirming reimbursement once processed.

What if I don’t receive confirmation of my reimbursement / subscription cancellation until Aug 4**th** ?

Don’t worry! – As long as you meet the qualifying criteria for reimbursement, we will make sure you receive your reimbursement and a free 2020 MLB.TV subscription. Qualifying criteria:

  1. If a customer purchased MLB.TV before Tuesday, July 21st.

  2. If a customer tried to redeem the offer (between Tuesday, July 21st and Monday, August 4th ), but fell out of the redemption path by clicking on something and arrived at a MLB.TV website asking for payment (and the customer paid using their credit card information)

I never received an email from MLB confirming my subscription cancellation or reimbursement. What should I do?
