Field Trips are available Monday through Friday with tours running at 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm. The 1:30pm tour is not available when the Astros have an evening home game. Please note, for the 2021 baseball season, the field and dugout will not be accessible for tours on game days. These tours are by appointment only and require a minimum of 25 guests. Educational Tour (1st through 8th Grade)

Educational Tours are a great way to put a spin on learning. These tours offer an in-depth look at Minute Maid Park and its rich baseball history as well as an Educational overview of the work behind building the tools of the game. Guests of this tour will visit the Bank of America Suite Level, Honda Club Level, Press Box, Astros Dugout, and will watch educational videos on how bats and balls are made.

For material you can utilize in your classroom to tie-in to your school’s visit to Minute Maid Park, National Baseball Hall of Fame offers an educational program which provides lesson plans aligned with various subjects. Each lesson plan is aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and English Language Arts. Additionally, many of these lessons support Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning (McREL) learning goals.

Cost: $6 per student (3-15 years), $10 per teacher/staff member, $20 per chaperone over age 15

Career Day Tour (6th Grade through College)

Career Day Tours offer an in-depth look at Minute Maid Park and its rich baseball history as well as a unique and memorable behind-the-scenes look at the operations and career path of the department of your choice. The Career Day tour will take you to the Bank of America Suite Level, Honda Club Level, Press Box and Astros Dugout and include a career-oriented guest speaker.

Cost: $10 per student/teacher/staff member, $20 per chaperone over age 15

STEM Tour (6th Grade through College)

Minute Maid Park is a unique Houston location for your students to experience science, technology, engineering, and math in the world of baseball. STEM Tours offer an in-depth look at the physics of baseball, how statistics are computed and used, the engineering marvels of a retractable roof stadium, and more.

Cost: $10 per student/teacher/staff member, $20 per chaperone over age 15

Photo Scavenger Hunt (6th Grade through College)

A fun and informative experience, our Photo Scavenger Hunt takes students on a ballpark tour where they are encouraged to take photos. At the end of the tour, a quick test is given to the students in which the answers are photos they took along the tour. The group with the most correct photo answers wins a prize.

Cost: $10 per student/teacher/staff member, $20 per chaperone over age 15
